July house progress thru the 26th

We have made alot of progress this hot July. I thought we would almost die sometimes but we didn't. Didn't know we could work so hard and long at one time. I think we're almost getting used to it.

The forms are all off and the boards and bolts and boards on outside edge done. The center beams that hold the trusses and all the outer and inside drain pipes.(for excess water)

Took us 3 days all day to do the floor trusses. Now we are almost ready to start framing. Jerry has to do the rough in plumming before we screw the floor on.

Now a couple days off. Jerry will go to work to rest!! Josh is coming August 1st to help us frame. Hopefully Jared too. Jesse is coming to help and maybe Gramps & Gram. We won't refuse any help!!

July-Aug House progress

Last week we finished the forms for the foundation walls. Very hard job. Today, July 7th we poured the concrete into the walls. Took 4 hours to get it all done. Now while we wait for the concrete to harden, so we can remove the forms, we will get ready for the floor. I'll post the different steps as we go.
